Choosing A Florist Online
There are many things to
consider when choosing a florist online. We will give you some advice to
make sure that your next flower purchase goes smoothly.
Is Your Florist Local?
Find a local florist. Flowers
are more likely to be fresh if you order them locally. If you cant tell if
a florist is local, look on their website for the address of their shop or
ask them when you call them where their shop is located. Be careful of
affiliate florists. Many flower sites present themselves as real florists
but are in fact only affiliates. They take your order, send it to a
florist and collect a commission. Read the florists website carefully to
see if they are an actual florist. It is better to deal directly, why use
a middleman.
Is Their Website Secure?
Before you enter your personal
information on any website, make sure it is secure. Look for a lock symbol
on the bottom of your browser. It will tell you that the website is
secure. You can also look at the website address. If it says https://ww
instead of http://ww it is secure. The s stands for secure in https.
Are The Prices Fair?
Don't shop entirely on price
but pay attention to it. If one florist is drastically higher than
another, you might want to ask questions. Also be careful if one florist
is much lower than all of the others. Choose a florist that offers a fair
price.
Is It Clear What You Are
Getting?
Make sure that the florist has
pictures of their products online. Look for good descriptions and clear
photos. Know what you are getting before you order.
