Gerbera Daisy

The Gerbera Daisy is a popular
variety of flower from the sunflower family. Because of extensive cross
breeding of this flower a large variety of colors and sizes exist. Colors
include white, orange, red, yellow and pink. The Gerbera has a 3 to 4 inch
flower on a single stem. You can expect cut flowers to last up to 2 weeks
if well cared for.
The name Gerbera comes from the German naturalist Traugott Gerber.
