Roses
Their are over 100 different species of roses. The flowers have five petals and can be white, pink, yellow or red. The fruit of the rose is called a rose hip. It is a berry like structure containing 5 to 150 seeds. The hips which are very rich in Vitamin C are eaten by birds who then distribute the seeds in their droppings. Each different color of a rose has a different meaning. Red roses represent love, respect and courage. White roses represent purity and innocence. Yellow roses represent joy and friendship. Pink roses represent gratitude and sympathy. Finally, a gathering of red and white roses represents unity. Kingdom
