Sea Lavender

Sea Lavender, also known as
Statice, is a flowering plant with around 120 different varieties. They
are a perennial plant and grow from ten to seventy centimeters in height.
They are capable of growing in salty soil so can often be found growing
near coasts and saltwater marshes. The flowers of the Sea Lavender are
four to ten millimeters in length and come in colors including pink,
violet, purple, yellow and white.
To successfully grow Sea
Lavender, plant it in well draining soil in areas that receive full sun.
In very hot climates, plant it in areas that receive partial shade in the
afternoon. Water well once weekly and mulch around the plants to keep
roots moist and cool.
