Tulips

The Tulip is a native flower of
Europe, Africa and Asia. It includes almost 100 species of different
flowering plants. They are a perennial flower which will reach a height of
about 15 to 70 centimeters.
The name of the flower is
thought to come from a mis-pronouncement of the Persian word for turban.
The Tulip is the national flower or Iran and Turkey and Turks would
commonly wear a Tulip in the folds of their turbans.
